  Know the Do's & Don'ts Of Cold Room to Avoid Product Wastage The Main purpose of Cold Room is to store the Product in Hygienic condition & at correct temperature to maintain / enhance the shelf life of the product: The correct way to use the cold room in optimal way is to maintain the required temperature with minimal load on the Refrigeration unit. This is little tricky and by following some Do’s & Don’ts, we can easily achieve the same and also help in increasing the shelf life and maintaining the quality of the product. Do’s for the Cold Room: ( ΓΌ ) v   Storage Area should be kept clean, dry & well ventilated. v   All the used Packages, Boxes and Cartons should be disposed off properly after use. v   Product should be stored at least 6” above the ground in Racks or Pallets. v   The Doors, Corners and Floors should be cleaned regularly. v   The Gaskets should be wiped with Wet & Dry Cloths regularly. v   Temperature of the Cold Room should be checked &
